New Project

:) gonna be fun

continued enviornmental plan, similar idea to the post on ecuador and oil

still seems like a pretty revolutionary idea, although still stuck in the narrow mindset of capitalism (including the idea of infinitely growing economies in a finite world) thus perpetuating the problem...as this is how we got into this environmental disaster in the first place.

On the train on the Oresund Bridge, from Sweden to Denmark

I believe that wind turbines (or maybe it is dairy products or shipping containers) are Denmark's largest export.

Olympian Adventure

On Wednesday morning I woke up in Seattle.
Between cups of chocolate tea I breathed in the moist air.
Fresh baked bread and Kale salads from the garden.
I have been dabbling in the freedom of the Northwest.
Yesterday I canoed across the Puget Sound with a dog on my lap.
Today I pushed deep into the woods.
The trees covered in loose hanging moss swayed around me.
The taste of bitter mushrooms lingered on my tongue.
I saw something today.
Amidst vibrant green and several layers of awareness.
A glimpse of it all.
The penetrating electric world view that inspires every adventure.
Yes, today was a day was on one of those days.
I thought of you.

Recents

Thought I'd post a couple things I've been working on. Both for NFG Cycles, Niall the frame builder. First, is a head badge for his frames. First run, still need to polish out the machining passes and fix a few parts of the engraving. It'll get rolled and bolted to the headtube. Second are headtube reinforcers for the frames he's building Wills and I. OOOOOOOO shit!!!! Also, third, the dopest f-ing freak bike ever!!!! Just hosted Tour de Franzia and we built this bike as the race trophy. So much fun, built the whole thing in 2 days. It's three different frames we chopped and I welded together and then I built the custom fork. Then Clay plasma cut the fork sign. Rides so well, just cruisin. So ya there's some stuff I've been doing. Love the blog activity!! Awesome to see everyone active again, get a feel for where you're all at. Be well bretheren, take care, and keep it moving.

RELAUNCH and a New EP from The Last Minutes

So The New Confusion (Mike Rosen's blog, which I am a contributor on) relaunched earlier this week with a new layout, including a logo designed by our very own Matt Kalish. Check out our new site HERE. We also exclusively released The Last Minutes new collection of songs, Wash, which is up for free download. Also, if you check out the "Liner Notes" document in the zip file, you can read a piece that I wrote about the album (which I'm actually pretty proud of). Czech it out.
